Hello and thanks so much for the warm welcome. Just to let you know I do not own a camera, not even on my phone, and will have to borrow one before I can post pics of Sparky. It will happen; I just don’t know when. Please know that he looks a whole lot like the tripawd avatar that is standing on its hind legs, only cuter. : )

Ok, Sparky, we are going to let you slide and trust you when you say you are cute. We all have a soft spot for three legged pups anyway and think they are all beautiful, so I’m pretty sure you are too!

My Boy wanted a dog like you but instead we got Evelyn, the worst roommate ever. My Boy really wanted a dog for his lap. My Man and my Woman said we live in a place not safe for dogs that are so small since we have coyotes and foxes and big owls that steal cats all the time. My Boy has his lap dog, though, because Evelyn hauls her fat a…you can imagine. Anyway, my point is that you are probably much cuter than Evelyn and I will await the photographic proof. Then my Boy will want to come stay with you. Are you good with that?

We live in Colorado. One week ago we moved from the mountains where the big things with sharp teeth are. Now we live in a town but there are still lots of coyotes around here. Maybe now that we are here we can leave Evelyn somewhere and instead get a snuggler like you. Maybe you know some guys who I can pay to arrange an accident, since you live in Washton. Do you know any of those kinds of peoples?

Dakota is napping so I wanted to reply and tell you that Jerry is our great spiritual leader. Jerry was a good dog and earned his angel wings. He is the reason this web site exists, and he was a very important pack member to many people (and dogs) here. You should have your mom read his story to you. And there is a nifty video that Jerry appeared in on PBS. There is a link to it here.
When you get a reply from “Jerry” like you did above, it’s a really special thing because Jerry crossed the Rainbow Bridge several years ago and now welcomes tripawds when their jobs here are done. Jerry shows them how to wear their wings proudly and how to run on 4 legs again. And Jerry shows us peoples how to be more dog. Just like you!
