HI IT IS ME SPARKY
TODAY A THING HAPPENED YOU WOULD NEVER BELIEVE IT. MY FRIEND ROBERTO WAKED UP! THEY TAKED THE TUBE OUT OF HIS MOUTH AND NOW HE CAN TALK WORDS! MOMMY GOED TO SEE HIM. HE WHISPERED QUIET TALKING. HE DID NOT EAT ANYTHING YET. MOMMY SAYS HE HAS LOTS OF TUBES. I DONT KNOW WHY. MOMMY SAYS MAYBE HE WILL GET BETTER. I HOPE SO. HE IS MY FRIEND.

It was really encouraging, seeing Roberto awake and alert today. The intubation tube is gone. He’s pretty raspy, but he can talk a little. You know, he might just make it after all. Too early to tell. Keep your paws crossed.
