DEAR PEOPLES AND DOGS
HI IT IS ME 4TH OF JULY SPARKLER
THERE IS TOO MUCH HOTNESS. IT WILL NOT GO AWAY. IT HAS BEEN 10 DAYS OR MAYBE A MILLION. WE CAN NOT WALK. WE CAN NOT PLAY. WE CAN NOT SIT OUTSIDE. IT IS DISPOINTING EVERY DAY TO GO OUTSIDE AND IT IS HOT AGAIN. I LOOK TO SEE AND OUR FRIENDS ARE NOT SITTING OUTSIDE. IT IS DISPOINTING. I AM SAD A LITTLE BIT.
TODAY MOMMY SITTED ON THE GREEN CHAIR READING. I SITTED ON HER BOOK TO GET SOME TENTION. I NEEDED TO GET PETTED. SHE SAID
DOGS ARE MORE PORTANT THAN BOOKS.
AND SHE PETTED ME.
NOW IT IS NIGHTTIME. WE WILL GO OUTSIDE TO SEE IF IT COOLED OFF YET.
GOOD NIGHT FROM A SPARKLY LITTLE DOG
For the record, it’s 9:00 and it hasn’t cooled off yet.

Oops! I only meant to post that once. Becky
When it’s that hot, you need to say it several times. For emphasis.
We also had some very hot days, many of them. We have had a very hot summer with lots of fires. All you can do is become like the bats and stay up all night and sleep all day in the heat.
Love, Dakota
