HELLO! I DID NOT WRITE TO YOU FOR A LONG TIME. I WILL TELL TO YOU WHAT HAPPENED.
DO YOU MEMBER GARY BABYSITTER? HE USED TO TAKE CARE OF ME. HE GIVED TO ME TREATS. HE WAS MY FRIEND. NOW HE MOVED WAY AND I WONT SEE HIM ANY MORE. I AM SAD. NOW I DO NOT HAVE ANYONE TO TAKE CARE OF ME WHEN MOMMY GOES WAY. SO NOW I AM GOING TO DO A NEW THING. I AM GOING TO DOGGY DAYCARE. I NEVER DID THAT BEFORE. FIRST I HAVE TO GET A SHOT AND FEA TREATMENT. I DONT LIKE THAT PART. I AM A LITTLE BIT CITED AND A LITTLE BIT NERVOUS TO GO TO A NEW PLACE. THEY HAVE A SPECIAL PLACE FOR LITTLE DOGS SO I WONT GET TROMPLED. I AM GOING TO TAKE MY CRATE AND A BONE AND FOOD AND A TOY TO PLAY FETCH. I THINK IT WILL BE OK.
I DID NOTHER NEW THING LAST NIGHT I WAKED MOMMY UP TO GO POTTY. I NEVER DID THAT BEFORE. SHE SAID SPARKY IS THAT YOU? COURSE IT WAS ME. THERE ISNT ANYBODY ELSE HERE. SILLY MOMMY. I WAKED HER UP 4 TIMES TO GO OUT. MOMMY THINKED IN HER HEAD MAYBE SPARKY HAS A BLADDER FECTION BUT I DO NOT. I AM FINE.
TODAY I LAID OUT IN THE GRASS TO FEEL WARM IN THE SUN. I WAS HAPPY. IT IS 80*. I BARKED AT SOME PEOPLES WALKING BY.
WE HAVED A CHEESE SANDWICH FOR LUNCH. IT WAS GOOD.
WE GOED WALKING WITH AUNTIE DIANE AND THE GIRL DOG CALLED MOLLY BUT IT WAS WINDY SO WE GOED HOME.
MOMMY TELLED TO THE DAYCARE LADY SPARKY IS DISABLED TO ONLY HAVE 3 LEGS BUT IT IS NOT TRUE. I AM NOT DISABLED. I CAN RUN AND FETCH AND JUMP AND SPIN. I HAVE BEEN A TRIPAWD FOR 5 YEARS AND IT IS ALL I KNOW. I THINK I AM JUST FINE THE WAY I AM.

Any tips on how to help him transition to daycare? He’s going to be there for 10 hours and I’m concerned. I think I’ll go check it out beforehand. They sound good on the phone and their website looks great but I’d like to see it.

Dear Sparky the Dog,
I is so happy to hear you say HELLO to me. My mommy read me your post outLOUD so I could hear it! I wish you lived in NY city so we could play. I bet we would have lots of fun together I think you might be close to my size! I dont go to daycare because I is a cat and we go pee and poop in the house.
I am so happy you posted. You make me and mommy laugh with your posts! I am all done with my chemo now Sparky so you should fly here so we can have a celebration.
Hey Sparky, long time no see! Glad you’re back! Just to let you know, Linda & Bernie go to daycare too! They come home very tired afterward, so don’t get too cited when you first get there. Just take it easy and learn the lay of the land. I bet you’ll meet all sorts of new friends. Tell your Mom if she’s a little nervous, she should ask for a tour. If it’s a good daycare, they shouldn’t mind taking her “behind the scenes”. And they should also be pretty strict about making sure every camper has their vaccinations. (That part sucks, but it’s important to make sure you don’t come home with nasty germs.)
Sparky, be sure and write about your first day at daycare. I can’t wait to hear about your adventures there!

Wow, I’m sorry that Gary went away but I know you are going to have LOTS of adventures at day care. I think that you won’t have any problems at all there. You will make friends and have lots of fun. But yeah tell your Momma to check it out before you go over to make sure they are qualified to take care of such a very special dog like you Sparky.
We missed you! I can’t wait to hear about your day care fun.

Busy times for you, Sparky. You will probably be really tired, too, like Bernie and Linda, but I’m sure you’ll have fun.
When does Sparky have to start daycare? Is there time enough to let him got for a couple of hours as a trial run first, or does he need to hop into it right away?
