DEAR PEOPLES AND DOGS AND GIRLFRIEND
HI IT IS ME SPARKY THE GREAT
SHARI WRITED TO ME A LETTER TO SAY
HOW ARE YOU?
SO NOW I WILL WRITE A BLOG TO SAY HOW I AM. I AM PRETTY GOOD. IT IS HOT AND HOT. IT WAS 90 GREES EVERY DAY FOR 6 WEEKS. THAT IS TOO HOT TO GO WALKING TO NOT WANT TO BURN MY PAWS ON THE PAVEMENT. SO WE STAY HOME LOTS TO BE SO BORED. A COUPLE TIMES WE GOED WALKING WHEN IT WAS ONLY 85 GREES. WE GOED TO THE LIBRARY. THEY KEEP A BOWL OF WATER THERE FOR ME. I BEED QUIET FOR 15 MIN. THAT IS A LONG TIME FOR ME. I GET BORED IN THE LIBRARY TO JUST WANT TO GO HOME. WE GOED TO THE BANK. DO YOU MEMBER THE BANK LADY CALLED KARINA? ANYHOW SHE GOED WAY TO HAVE A BABY. SHE WAS GONE FOR A LONG TIME BUT NOW SHE IS BACK. SHE GIVES TO ME TREATS LIVER FLAVOR. I SIT PLITELY TO GET A TREAT. WE GOED TO THE PARK TO SIT IN THE SHADE IN THE GRASS. THERE IS A BENCH AND BIG TREES. THERE WAS A BREEZE. IT WAS NICE.
DID I TELL TO YOU BOUT THE DOG CALLED COOKIE THAT TTACKED ME IN JULY? I THINK I DID. YEST SHE GETTED LOOSE FROM HER OWNER GAIN AND CHARGED AT ME. MOMMY PICKED ME UP TO NOT GET BIT. MOMMY YELLED AT THE DOGS OWNER. I CAN NOT TELL YOU WHAT SHE SAID. IT IS NOT PLITE. WE WERE SCARED AND SCARED. MOMMY PLAINED TO THE APT MANAGER GAIN. THE LADY SAID SHE DID NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO. MOMMY SAID TO MAKE COOKIES OWNER KEEP HER TIED UP AT ALL TIMES SO SHE CANT GET LOOSE GAIN. WE DONT THINK THE MANAGER WILL DO IT. IF THE DOG TTACKS US GAIN WE WILL CALL THE COPS. IS THAT THE RIGHT THING TO DO? WE DONT KNOW. ANYHOW.
WE EAT MOZZ CHEESE FOR LUNCH. I LIKE IT. WE HAVED BEAN BURRITOS AND SOY MEAT. IT IS NOT REAL MEAT BUT IT TASTES GOOD.
WHEN WE GOED WALKING I GETTED A THING CALLED A GOATHEAD IN MY PAW. IT IS A THORN. I STOPPED IN THE STREET TO TAKE IT OUT WITH MY TEETHS. WE HAVE LOTS OF GOATHEADS ROUND HERE.
MY AUNTIE JUDY IS COMING TO SEE ME FOR LABOR DAY. SHE ALWAYS BRINGS TREATS AND TOYS. I LIKE HER LOTS.
MOMMY GETTED A JOB TO BE A TEACHER. SHE LIKES IT.
IT WILL COOL OFF SOON AND WE WILL BE ABLE TO WALK MORE.
THAT IS ALL!

So happy to hear from you, Sparky! I think your mommy is right about the dog Cookie. If Cookie’s mommy really cared about her (Cookie is a girl?), then she would not let Cookie bark at you or lunge at you or try to bite you. Because Cookie’s mom doesn’t care, Cookie has no manners and probably doesn’t even know that she’s being naughty.
I think Cookie needs a new mommy who will care about her enough to teach her right from wrong. That’s just my opinion.
I’m sorry it’s been so doggone hot for you to go out and play. But it sounds like even boring is nice and friendly. Dog cookies at the bank, nice grass at the park, Aunt Judy coming to visit–those are all things I wouldn’t mind.
Keep us posted about Cookie. That’s serious business there. And tell your mommy congratulations on the new job!

Sounds like somebody needs to call Cesar Millan in to help Cookie! Remember, there are no “bad” dogs, just bad owners! You stay n the alert though ’til tjat owner gets proper training!
What do you like to read while yoi’re at the library? Fiction? Non-fiction? Romance novels?

Sparky it’s always fun to hear from you! What a great life you have my friend. And now your Mommy is a teacher? COOL! Does that mean you get to go to Show and Tell? What will you show them and tell them? I’ll bet you have a lot to tell the kids huh?
P.S. My Mommy eats soy meat too, she likes it but I think it’s weird. Real meat is better don’t you think?
