Hi, fans of Sparky’s blog. Little dog had anesthesia today so he is groggy and can’t write right now. He had his teeth cleaned and had five teeth extracted. I assume this meant that he had cavities and was possibly in pain. Poor baby. I wish dogs could tell us what they are feeling. He had a pain injection so he should be feeling little pain right now. He will start taking his usual pain meds tomorrow. He peed and ate a little canned food when we got home and now he is going to sleep on the blanket with the heating pad. I’ll have him check in here when he is feeling better.

Sorry to hear about the teeths. Poor pup. Small dogs are soooo prone to this kind of thing.
I’m wondering if the dental decay might have played a role in all of the pain that Sparky was going through before he started rehab? If so, I’m betting you can look forward to lots of pain-free fun now. Let us know how he does.
