HI IT IS ME SPARKY. WE ARE MAZING. IT IS A GREAT DAY TO BE LIVE. IT IS SPRING AND THE SUN SHINING AND WARM AND HAPPINESS. I GOED WALKING ROUND THE PART MENTS AND MOMMY. I GETTED PETTED SIX! TIMES TO BE SO HAPPY. OUR NEIGHBORS PETTED ME GERRY AND JOYCE AND DAVID
AND TIO JOSE TWO TIMES
AND JUAN THE
MAINTENCE GUY. HE NEVER PETTED ME FORE. I BEED SO HAPPY I DANCED ROUND.
IT IS WONDERFUL TO BE HAPPY AND HEALTHY.
WE HAVED A TERRBLE WINTER. I GETTED A LITTLE WHITE MARK IN MY EYE IN NOV. MOMMY DID NOT KNOW WHAT IT WAS. THEN MY EYE GETTED RED AND ICKY. WE GOED TO SEE DR SAM QUICK! DR SAM SAID
SPARKY HAVES A ULCER IN HIS EYE TO NEED EYEDROPS. MOMMY TRIED TO PUT DROPS IN MY EYE FOR THREE WEEKS. IT WAS NOT EASY CUS I WOULD NOT COPERATE. I DO NOT LIKE TO HAVE THINGS PUTTED IN MY EYE. THE FECTION GETTED WORSE. MY EYE HURTED LOTS. WE GOED BACK TO DR SAM AND I TRIED TO BITE HER. IT WAS NOT MY FAULT CUS I HURTED SO MUCH. DR SAM MAKED FOR ME MEDICATION WITH MY OWN BLOOD! CAN YOU BLIEVE IT? THAT WAS ON MON. ON WED MY EYE BUGGED ME SO MUCH SO I TRIED TO WIPE IT WITH MY PAW AND I

MY DEWCLAW.
IT WAS TERRBLE TO BLEED AWFUL. I BEED SO SCARED AND MOMMY. WE DRIVED
FAST!
TO SEE DR SAM. IT WAS A MERGENCY.
DR SAM GIVED TO ME ANTIBIOTICS.
SHE SAID
YOU HAVE TO GO TO THE
OPTHMOLGIST
I CANT SPELL IT.
THE DOG EYE DOCTOR IS FAR WAY IN THE BIG CITY CALLED SPOKANE.
MOMMY CALLED TO MAKE A POIN MENT.
SHE CALLED THE HOTEL TO MAKE RESVATIONS. SHE CALLED HER BEST FRIEND TO GO WITH US. SHE PACKED OUR BAGS. WE GETTED IN THE CAR AND DRIVED FAST! TO SPOKANE. ON FRI MORN I GOED TO THE HOSPTAL. THE NICE DOCTOR LOOKED AT MY EYE. SHE CALLED MOMMY ON THE PHONE TO SAY
SPARKY CAN NOT SEE WITH HIS EYE. IT IS HURTED BAD. HE HAVES CANCER IN IT. HE IS IN TERRBLE PAIN. I HAVE TO TAKE OUT HIS EYE. DO YOU GREE?
MOMMY SAID YES COURSE. MAKE HIM STOP HURTING.
SO THE DOCTOR GIVED TO ME ANSTHSTIA TO GO TO SLEEP. SHE TAKED WAY MY EYE AND SEWED UP MY EYELID. MOMMY COMED TO PICK ME UP AND WE GOED BACK TO THE HOTEL TO SLEEP. I SLEEPED IN THE BED WITH HER.
THE NEXT DAY WE COMED HOME. IT WAS A LONG AND LONG TRIP. AND THEN I CUPERATED. I GETTED BETTER BIT BY BIT. I COULD NOT EAT CUS I HAVED A REACTION TO THE ANSTHESIA. I ALLUS DO. SO MOMMY GIVED TO ME TUNA AND CHEESE. THEN SHE CIDED TO COOK FOR ME CHICKEN AND I EATED! I EATED AND EATED. I DO LOVE IT. SHE TRIED TO GET ME TO EAT DOG FOOD BUT I WOULD NOT. SO SHE COOKED MORE CHICKEN!
IT HAS BEED 10 WEEKS SINCE I HAVED SURGERY. I EAT CHICKEN FOR BREAKFAST AND LUNCH AND DOG FOOD FOR DINNER. I TELLED TO YOU AT THE BEGINING HOW GOOD I AM DOING TO MAKE YOU HAPPY. I DID NOT WANT YOU TO BE SAD CUS I LOSED MY EYE. I WANTED YOU TO BE HAPPY CUS I GETTED WELL.
I AM 14 AND A HALF YEARS OLD. I GO FOR WALKS EVVY DAY AND MOMMY. THE NEIGHBORS DO LOVE ME. ON NICE DAYS I LAY IN THE GRASS TO SUNBATHE AND GET BACKRUBS. I SPEND MOST OF MY TIME SLEEPING ON MOMMYS LAP ON THE SOFT CHAIR.
I AM DOING OK. I HOPE YOU ARE TOO.

Sparky the Pirate Dog! WE LOVE YOU! And whew, so glad you are all better and that icky old eye is gone. Sorry it had to go, that couldn’t have been easy for either of you. But dang kid, look at you now! Yes, you are MAZING! You have been through so much and you still bounce back like a rubber ball. Every day, you impress us. I wish we could give you a big hug and kiss right now but this ((((hug)))) will have to do. Enjoy being spoiled and loved and petted by everypawdy, you sure deserve it!!

Sparkeee! Li’l Dude! What a very scary story! But of course you came out the other side bigger and better than ever! Well, maybe not bigger 🙂 You are a One-Eyed Tripawd Superdawg fur sure! So glad you are healing up and feeling good and getting lots of love from everypawdy. Not sure about the peg leg but you most definitely need an eyepatch! If Codie Rae was still here she could teach you to talk like a pirate, she was a champion in the regard! Keep an eye out, maybe she’ll visit you in your dreams 🙂

Oh Sparku!!! You are MAZING indeed!!
And yes, we are happy you got rid of that bum eye!! My Merry Myrtle (much bigger doggy 123 lbs) made it impossible for me to give here eye drops! You dogs just do not like eye drops!! As it turned out she went blind in o e eye, then the other very quickly,. It was a painful glaucoma so they had to do some “fluid” surgery to remove all pain from the eyes. It took her quite awhile to adjistmto being com blind, but I could tell instantly she felt better with that surgery she had.
I know the surfery just makes you look even cuter….if that’s possible!!
I’m so glad you’re getting lots of petting and sunbathing and glorious naps!! Naps for “seniors” are such a luxury! Better than a day at the spa!
I didn’t get on tj9s last zoom call, but I saw some of it on a replay on facebooger and they mentioned you andnyour Mom! Do knowmofnyou ac got on the video of mot, but I would loooove to have seen you! Maybe the next one, eh??
