IT STOPPED BEING HOT. IT WAS 90 GREES. NOW IT IS 65. IT IS COOL NOUGH. WE CAN GO WALKING EVERY DAY. WE GO TO THE PARK TO SIT IN THE COOL GRASS IN THE SHADE. WE GO TO THE BANK TO GET TREATS LIVER FLAVOR. WE GOED TO A NEW PLACE THE CONSIGNMENT STORE. IT SMELLED LIKE SO MANY THINGS. I LIKED IT. DOGS ARE LOUD THERE. WE GOED TO THE LIBRARY. I BARKED SO WE HAVED TO LEAVE. SOMETIMES I FORGET TO BE QUIET IN PUBLIC. WE GOED TO THE HARDWARE STORE. THEY HAVED LITTLE BAGS OF DOG KIBBLE LAMB FLAVOR. MOMMY THINKED IN HER HEAD
I WILL GET THIS TO TRAIN SPARKY.
SO SHE SAID TO THE STORE MAN HOW MUCH IS IT?
AND DO YOU KNOW WHAT? IT WAS FREE. THAT IS A VERY GOOD PRICE. SO WE GOED BACK TO THE LIBRARY. MOMMY SITTED DOWN IN A CHAIR TO TALK TO THE LIBRARY LADY. SHE SAID TO ME
SIT! STAY! HUSH!
SO I DID. I SITTED QUIETLY. MOMMY GIVED TO ME LITTLE BITS OF FOOD. SOMETIMES I SITTED AND SOMETIMES I LICKED MY BUTT. I GETTED FED AS LONG AS I BEED QUIET. WE STAYED FOR 15 MIN AND I WAS QUIET THE WHOLE TIME. I AM A GOOD AND GOOD BOY.
OCT 4 WILL BE MY BIRTHDAY TO BE 7 YEARS OLD. IT IS THE DAY THAT I COMED TO LIVE WITH MOMMY. WHEN WE BECOMED A FAMILY. WE WILL HAVE A PARTY IN THE PARK. AUNTIE JUDY IS COMING. AUNTIE DIANE AND HER DOG MOLLY ARE COMING. WE WILL HAVE LUNCH MEAT AND TREATS. THE HUMANS WILL HAVE CAKE. WE WILL NOT WEAR PARTY HATS. WE WILL GO FOR A LONG WALK ROUND THE PARK SNIFFING THINGS. IT WILL BE FUN.
OUR FRIEND ALLEN HAVED A STROKE. HE IS GETTING BETTER.
MOMMY IS HAPPY AND HAPPY TO BE A TEACHER. SHE TEACHES ENGLISH TO LADYS FROM FAR WAY. THEY ARE JUST LEARNING. THEY CAN NOT WRITE VERY WELL LIKE ME.

Dear Sparkmeister,
In advance let me wish you a happy “gotcha” day, the day your mommy gotcha and kept ya! Your “became a family day” is a wonderful day to celebrate and I hope the weather is nice and perfect for all your plans at the park. That’s the best part of your update, you know. I did read the part about the butt licking, but I am remembering the part about becoming a family.
Good work on being quiet at the library. I know your mommy enjoys going to the library (me, too) and it’s really nice that you can go there. So try to remember to be quiet so you can go all the time.
Thanks for the update, Sparky. I’m sure your girlfriend kitty Jill will respond to you. She has some fabulous news to share today, too, so maybe she’ll see this tonight.

Dearest Boyfriend,
Today I had a wonderful day. Mommy woke me up very early to go to the onclogloslsogist. Did I spell that write? Its a silly word. I love going there I give my friend Dr. Amber hugs and hugs. Mommy says to me I have a portant picture to take but she says do not worry Jill it will not hurt they take your picture of your insides but it will not hurt! That sounded scary to me.
But dont worry boyfriend it did not hurt promise. They sat me on a nice table and said “smile Jilly!” So I did and everyone said I did a good job to not have lumps in my lungs. Mommy was very happy about that. She is so silly sometimes she worries. Dr Amber and Dr Ho Ho those are my onclsotoaoijgists they tell me, “you are doing very good Miss Jilly, you are a great fighter”. DUH I tell them back. Why do they doubt me?
Do you know whats so funny boyfriend? I comed to live with MY mommy on October 4th too!!! But that was 9 years ago so you are a little bit younger than me I guess that really makes me a cougar ROAR! My birthday was September 1st and Mommy made me wear a silly hat and to pose for her. She’s silly that Mommy. Is your mommy silly?
I am sorry to hear about your friend Allen I hope he is to get better. You tell him your girlfriend had cancer but she is getting better for 15 whole months now. It will give him hope maybe!
Mommy says I am her inspration so maybe that will help!

Your birthday is October 4? Wow that’s a great day. It is the Feast of Saint Francis Day. That guy was a big animal lover, he takes very good care of animals. No wonder you are so sweet, you were born on St. Francis Day!
